Sometimes the video happens in another app: a Zoom call, the TikTok camera, Instagram Live. Picture-in-Picture (PiP) floats a mini teleprompter over anything.
Start PiP
- Open your script in the player.
- Tap the PiP icon in the top toolbar.
- The script appears in a floating window. Switch to any other app; the window stays on top. Drag it next to the camera so your eyes stay near the lens.
Keep it scrolling with your voice
While you are in another app, use voice-controlled scrolling: turn on the mic before starting PiP and the floating script follows your voice even with the main app in the background. See Voice-controlled scrolling.
Great for
- Reading talking points on video calls (the other side sees a confident speaker, not your notes).
- Recording natively inside TikTok/Instagram with their filters and music.
- Live streams where your streaming app owns the screen.
PiP is a Pro feature. On the Mac, the equivalent superpower is the under-camera overlay with Ghost Mode: Teleprompter on your Mac.
